If you are looking to get some great deals then Black Friday and Cyber Monday are a given. With amazing deals and huge savings opportunities, it is easy to snag a lot of amazing products at a fraction of the price. Some of the best products to look for are electronics, and if you are looking to make your life easier a Roomba should be on the top of your list. To prevent wasting time, it is important to consider the different models available and decide which is best for you before heading to the stores.
Quick Summary:
Roomba 675 (a simple and effective vacuum)
Roomba 890 ( very easy to clean and is low maintenance)
Roomba 960 ( can handle most messes and is perfect for smaller homes with pets)
Roomba 980 ( the most powerful vacuum with carpet booster and long battery life)
Which Roomba Is The Right One For You?
The kind of Roomba you need comes down to several different factors. If you live in a larger home you need a Roomba with a longer battery life and virtual walls that will prevent it from falling down stairs. Homes with pets or if you have long hair, you should look for a Roomba that can both clean up the hair and avoid it getting tangled inside.
If you have carpets that are prone to deep stains, you need to have a Roomba powerful enough to remove the dirt from the base of the carpet and not just the surface.
We recommend going with a Roomba model over 800 because this is when they started incorporating features like the low maintenance rollers and Wi-Fi connectivity. The 960 is a great overall vacuum that will keep your floors clean and won’t require you to break the bank. The 980 is a more powerful version of the 960 and will be more money, but considering its superior carpet cleaning abilities and the savings of Black Friday, it can be worth spending the money on the upgrade.
Shopping for the Best Roomba Deals?
As Roomba continues to make and release new models, they are looking to phase out the older ones to focus on consumers buying up the newer ones. For this reason you can expect to see significantly lower prices during events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday on quality Roombas that are simply older models. Amazon offers some of the best deals for Roombas on these days as well as on their Amazon Prime day sale.
What We Recommend:
Sadly deals are very often not announced until closer to the actual sale.
But we keep track of the changes in prices and keep an eye out for the best deals. While now we can only speculate based on previous years, we will be updating our information as more deals come out to make sure you have the most information to get the best deals on Roombas.
As it stands right now, Amazon, Dell and Best Buy have the best deals for the higher end Roombas with low maintenance and Wi-Fi connectivity. If you want to spend the least amount of money for a Roomba then Target can allow you to snag a Roomba 614 for around $200. But it is also a much older model without many of the features we have come to associate with the Roomba vacuum.

My Guesses On Black Friday Roomba Deals For 2020
We will update this page as more details are released, but based on the past few years of Black Fridays and other holiday sales, here are a few of our predictions.
Older models like the Roomba 650 and Roomba 690 are more than likely going to see a significant price drop because they are much older versions of the vacuum with more maintenance needed and less features.
The Roomba 960 and Roomba 980, the most popular Roombas on the market, and our personal recommendations, are likely to see around $100 off the normal price. This may be more or less depending on where you are looking for your deals, but if you look at past sales prices for these models, it is only likely to increase the discount as time goes on.

What Is Black Friday?
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving where stores provide you with incredible sales all around the United States. It has since spread to other places in the world, but is still by far the biggest in the US.
What Is Cyber Monday?
As it became more and more popular to purchase items online it became less necessary for people to wait in lines for hours and risk the chaos that can be associated with Black Friday. Cyber Monday became an official event in 2005 and is where you can get some amazing online deals on sites like Amazon. Some deals may not be as good as in stores, but you are avoiding the madness of Black Friday.
Cyber Monday has also turned into Cyber Week in many places as they compete with the Black Friday deals and provide you with several days to find deals and purchase them.
The Origins of Black Friday
The original name for Black Friday came as stores would be in the black, rather than the red, or running at a loss. But as more stories of fights and injuries came out around the sale, the name took on a more negative meaning.
Why Should You Get a Roomba On Black Friday?
Electronic, hands free vacuums are an expensive investment that you may not be able to afford on a tight budget.
But with the deals you can get on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, it can create enough saving for you to finally take home that Roomba and make your life much easier.
Previous Deals from Thanksgiving Weekend 2019:
During Thanksgiving last year, you could get the 960 at a really low price. I guess it was their focus product for the best discount. Also, there was a great discount on the Roomba 675. This was the new model at the time and the basic one. With the Roomba 675, you won’t be getting so many features but it’s still a good purchase if you need a decent iRobot.
